December 28, 2010 - Day 4 @Palawan. First went to the Buenavista Viewdeck to see the epic view of Puerto Princesa from the other side of the city. Stayed at Sabang to wait for the boat that will take us to the Island where the Underground River is.

While waiting, we bought Halohalo then went to the buffet lunch at Sabang Beach Resort. YES, WE ATE DESSERT BEFORE THE MAIN COURSE. I don’t know why either. HAHAH well um, we roamed around Sabang with it’s awesome beach and friendly Palaweños.

And finally! we went to the majestic wonder of nature, The Underground River. With helmets and vests, now we’re off to the cave!

The 8.2 kilometers long underground river that flows beneath a spectacular limestone formation before directly emptying into the sea. God using “nature” has been really epic for using stalagmites and stalactites to create such formations of “The Last Supper”, “Jesus’ face”, “Mother Mary”, “The Holy Family” -everything under “The Cathedral” part of the cave. Other formation includes “Pegasus”, “Cats”, different kinds of body parts, vegetables, animals and many more, take note -they’re just stones. I know these are hard to imagine but you have to see it yourself. Hands up to Palawan! Epic bats all over.

OMG I AM GLOWING HAHAHAH

Now, it’s time to go back to Manilaaa! Will surely miss you, Puerto Princesa ♥

December 27, 2010 - Day 3 @Palawan. After eating the usual healthy breakfast at Casa Fuerte, our first stop is the SNAKE ISLAND!

SNORKELING + LUNCH + HALOHALO for dessert. We also did some picture taking around the place, from the epic Mangroves to the epic shape of the island itself.

Snake Island is also where we experienced SCUBA DIVING. It’s all our first time, and everything went well, easier than we expected and we forever love the sea creatures HAHAH but seriously.

AND GUESS WHAT. We saw some celebrities HAHAH It’s cool to see them not only right infront of us but we were able to swim with them. Kiddo much. Hello Marlin, Nemo and Gill ♥

Next stop, STARFISH ISLAND! More snorkeling and fish feeding.

Last but not the least, PAMBATO REEF! More more and more views of humongous coral reefs + fish feeding.

Then we ate dinner at Ka Lui Restaurant! BEST. EVER. IN. PUERTO. PRINCESA. I ate a lot HAHAH and they even gave us complimentary desserts!

18-20 feet below sea level, another granted dream @Snake Island, Palawan.

December 26, 2010 - Day 2 @Palawan. Thanks to the very warm welcome of Palaweños plus the four seasons drink and lively music.

KAYAKING.

I don’t really know but my siblings and I were hyper like that HOHO *u*

TIMER FAMILY SHOTS.

BUFFET LUNCH.

We also went around the place and took pictures, Dos Palmas really have this suite relaxing ambiance, and aside from having delicious meals, approachable staff and clean surroundings, it also offers a great experience not only of water sports but also outdoor sports like biking and beach volleyball.

We ate dinner at Kinabuchs Grill and Bar , where my family and I experienced eating CROCODILE MEAT and TAMILOK “mangrove worms”. Yes, we were able to taste them, I WAS ABLE TO EAT THEM WITH RICE- EPIC MUCH.

December 25, 2010 - Day 1 @Palawan, left MNL 0800H and arrived Puerto Princesa by 0900H. We were fetched by Gabay sa Turismo Van of Casa Fuerte, the Bali inspired Inn where we will be staying in at Puerto Princesa. Our first day is all about the tour around Puerto Princesa City.

We first went to Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm, it is one of the most popular prisons in the Philippines. My family and I was able to interact with different prisoners and there’s one that we definitely wouldn’t forget. He told us that he has a pet snake and asked us if we wanted to see it, right after we said yes, he raised his shirt and THE SNAKE IS RIGHT THERE CURLED ON HIS WAIST LIKE A BELT OMGGG. We weren’t afraid of snakes but man, we’re talking to him the whole time and we don’t even know that the serpent is just right there waiting to be revealed hoho but then, we took pictures with it. We bought souvenirs and it was really fun talking with those prisoners.

Since the Crocodile Farm is closed for holiday leave, our next stop was Rancho Sta. Monica, where we were able to see the breathtaking view of Puerto Princesa a few hundred feet above the rest of the city.

Then we’re off to Baker’s Hill to fill our stomach with their best-tasting Hopia and other delicacies. It’s nice to feed your appetite while you’re sitting on the top of a hill overlooking the Puerto Princesa City.

We also visited the Immaculate Conception Cathedral to greet Jesus, the birthday Boy and went to Tiangge tiangge to shop for souvenir items. They sell different kinds of things for a very reasonable price! They also sell super yummy Cashew Nuts omnomnom =P~ We went back to Casa Fuerte after the tour, took a bath and rest for a bit then we went to Tiki Restobar for awesome Filipino food for dinner together with a performing live band. Now I can say that we really had a Very Merry Christmas! :)
