It’s when real life thoughts sink in. I think making a playlist of my all-time favorite songs from a few years back to present is not the best idea at the moment, not unless I wanted to experience all the drama with the silence after listening to all of them. Well, basically that’s what I did and it lead me to blogging. Silence has never really been my thing since God knows when. Who does that? During “me” time, I am usually on my earphones either watching movies/series on Netflix or probably listening to music. If you found me all alone and silent when I am not sleeping at all, you should already be taking me to the emergency room or something. Mom and I talked about “silencing” for quite some time now but I never really thought that trying it will give me this kind of feeling. It’s supposed to free my mind of all my worries, doubts and desires but how can I not think of anything when it gives my brain the most vivid chance to absorb everything I’ve never thought of when I am not silent.

Silence and darkness only screams the truth and I know that sifting through all of them might drive me insane but who knows how long that can take? I certainly believe that I can make it through all this. You know, thoughts happen, it can be flashbacks or fast forwards usually but to sum it all up, it’s all about what’s gnawing at me, playing with me, making me question everything, those what if’s and worst case scenarios, it makes me doubt everything especially myself sometimes. Believe me, it’s not actually that bad because my future success still reigns above them all (which is a good thing) but just the thought of it scares me too much that’s why I maybe distract myself most of the time. The truth is, I slide around the silence, I cover it up, ignore it and I hide from it. Honestly, I think I am in denial that I may have the longest list of people that I really do miss so much. I even sometimes think of cutting them off from my daily but it won’t do me any good though it might actually help in keeping my emotions stable LOL

To be honest, I recently stopped thinking about my goal. I gave myself a break, away from reality, away from thinking. I can think of all the disadvantages of keeping my eyes “off” and not on the prize for a little while but it actually gave me realizations that I would never encounter if I didn’t take a break. I can even sleep excessively and don’t care at all. I may be in the phase of my life which is all about uncertainty -an unknown phase where I am still about to figure things out, a phase where I don’t have a consistent routine yet and I can still do anything that I want. I tried a lot of things for the first time just to escape from it but I ended up tired, fatigued and remained shady. I may be out of focus and might need some fixing but maybe I am just trying too hard when maybe these are not necessary at all. Everything seems questionable but one thing is for sure, I have my family who constantly reminds me that I am not alone in this and always brings me to God no matter what happens. I learned that anything that pulls me back right now only prepares me to be launched on to something great, extravagant or even some colossal opportunity that I could ever contain. Nothing can make me move forward if I stop now so I should continue to focus and keep aiming. Giving up is never one of my choices, besides, I am too young to settle anyway.

I want to thank God for, well, everything. No matter how much I whine and feel frustrated in the thoughts of the moment, He makes silence all about His love for me. It makes me smile and it’s kinda weird (you know, smiling in the dark, alone) Also, it cleanses me. It calms me. It connects everything and everyone in my life. It gives everything not only its meaning but also its perfect sense, I just have to be patient and just trust in Him with everything. I believe that life is not about reaching the destination/goal, it’s about what makes the journey worthwhile. Let us just remember to appreciate how stars can shine so bright only in the darkness. Though I can’t make everyone feel the same way, I hope that all of us would seek and find Him and His truth when silence and darkness fall upon us.

*Photos are from random sources: These are only few of the daily posts that my mom shares to me via Facebook Messenger. In fact, she never gets any responses from me but she still continuously sends me all these inspirations that encourages me all the time. Never told her (and eventually she’ll know because she reads my blog) that she is indeed my angel on earth. I’m not lucky, I am blessed.

#OOTD

Took a photo of this girl who took her turn before me in trying out this driving game arcade for the “Save A Life Tour” to provide realistic and sober perspective on the effects of driving while intoxicated. Basically, this car is drunk and has delayed responses from the sober driver’s actions. My turn was kinda quick, crashed to another car within 5 miles of driving under the influence of alcohol- Level 8 LOL

There were presentations,on going videos and staff interactions that ran throughout the day. This casket, which I obviously know is empty, still scared the hell out of me! :( Don’t drink and drive you guise!

Auntie got me these jackets (denim and camo) and I made it to vests! So excited to wear them :”>

SELFIE!!! LOL

Here’s my awesome auntie, who just retired from the military, rockin this giant gun or mini canon whatever haha

@mclovin4130: Thanks! LOL

@missnoname: Hello there! My first pair was black and it was safe because it really goes with anything I wear so it was really a good choice. For me, it doesn’t really matter from what shop they are because brands are not a big deal to me to be honest but I recommend buying online because they got the widest variety of designs/choices and mostly are ones that are not available in physical stores. It’s really nice to have a pair which isn’t overrated but the thing is you have to wait for the process/shipping- you know, pre-orders like how online shops work. Well, good things come to those who wait, right? ;)

@jessilovebabe12: Aww thank you :*

@trinanaei: HELLO PARTNUR!!! I know, everyone wants to drink with me all the time AHAHAHAHA just kidding! Good times!!! I miss you mooost, see you soon please? Love youuu ♥

@theclingyserialkisser: Aww thank you for loving me! Allow me to love you back sweetie LOL Clingy mode: ON

Made this birthday card for uncle! A fail attempt on trying to be an artist LOL It’s been a while since my last artwork though- not like 2011, back when I doodle everywhere. (Starbucks Planner 2011)

#OOTD Went out for dinner to celebrate uncle’s birthday! Wore flats that night LOL Just took a photo with my Litas at home :-j It’s been gloomy the whole day and it was raining while we were on our way.

Dinner at Joe’s Crab Shack! They just opened a branch here so it’s our first time in this place. I always love trying out new places to eat, well who doesn’t?

So this is what welcomed us at the entrance. I didn’t know sharks can fly? LOL The interior of the place is really filled with all about maritime/nautical so the seafood vibe always kicks in immediately.

Unlike any other usual restaurants, Joe’s Crab Shack promotes eating without using utensils. Tables actually have a bucket for the seafood mess like the shells etc and a roll of paper towel. Our server even told us “You can get messy all the way you like” LOL

Here’s a beautiful photo of the birthday boy with auntie ♥

Now it’s Nik, Michaela and I - while waiting for our food.

Appetizer!

My big platter! Coconut shrimp, fries and coleslaw all for my big tummy LOL I remember begging them to help me finish everything ahaha I overestimated my appetite!

A snapshot from uncle’s video! Told the staff that today’s his birthday so they prepared a mini show while we were singing the birthday song for him LOL Ending this post already- do not scroll up to compare my drawing to uncle’s photo, k? That’s not cool ahahaha bye

All set for tomorrow!!! So excited- everything will be about my “firsts”. No, I don’t play golf LOL

This has been my view for three days! Been really happy for having this kind of view just walking distance from where I live. Bulle Rock Golf Course- “The number one golf course in Maryland” ♥

OREOS!!!

Hipster nails for the week.

#OOTD Thanks to Pandora’s Box for my arm candies!

Peace and pink nails for this week. Early morning Sunday run for Adam Thompson Fundraising at Harford Community College!

Over 350 people attended the race and over $20,000 was raised to support the Adam Thompson Memorial Nursing Scholarship at Harford Community College and the Adam Thompson Memorial Education Scholarship at Upper Chesapeake Health. Both scholarships support students of the Nursing program at Harford Community College.

Here’s a photo of Michaela and I few minutes before the gunstart :) Uncle ran with us too!

Got this shirt too! My second 5k here in Maryland- first was last Thanksgiving (2012).

#OOTD for church- beautiful weather!

Another spring week has passed. Here’s my laidback outfit for church last Sunday.

Arm candy from Street Fashion Walk by Olive and iPhone case from Bumbleshop. Be sure to check my sponsors out, click away!

Church aftermath ofcourse is lunch out with the family! This time we ate at La Tolteca - a place that represents the Mexican tradition. Their courteous and friendly staff greeted us upon our entrance to the restaurant.

The menu looked so foreign to me! Thank God my Mexican auntie was there to explain what those are- Tamales, Chalupas, Enchiladas and Fajitas. Was kinda happy for already knowing Burrito, Tortillas, Pico de Gallo and Guacamole LOL I was fascinated hearing my aunt speak Spanish while ordering.

As I can remember I had this enchilada, tacos, beans and chalupa. We all love the unlimited free tortilla chips they served us while waiting! Behold for it can make you full already.

Then we went to Bomboy’s for take home chocolates! Already blogged about this candy store during my first week here in the US- click HERE. Went on the other side of the street for Bomboy’s Ice Cream =P~

Visited some antique shops after and look at this awesome collection of lunchboxes and waterjugs!

Spring vibes!

Nails for the week! Cross ring from Lovemyblingz and skull ring from GQ by Pinkcloset

Michaela and I rode our bikes from home to downtown Havre de Grace! Though it was really tiring, it’s really fun. I learned how to ride a bike years ago but of course it’s not something I usually do so it was really exciting! I can definitely count on my fingers those few bike riding days LOL

Not to mention those killer hills on our way and back, I just had to stop and capture this huge house overlooking Chesapeake Bay. I’m not really a fan of its interior though but hey, the location is perfect.

Since mom is my biggest fan she’s been really updated on what I post on my blog, on my Instagram and Twitter! LOL This one time she shared THIS link on my Facebook so, I best give it a try! I used striping tapes instead of nail art pens so this is my version of Converse Chucks Nail art yay! ♥

#OOTD Easter Sunday! Spikes ring from Streetfashionwalk, check out the shop at Facebook ;)

Woke up 5 in the morning for the 6:30am event at Top of the Bay Easter special- together with the sunrise, it was really beautiful.

There was a mini presentation about the story of how Jesus suffered and sacrificed Himself for our sins til the day He has risen. The narration was accompanied by sound effects plus beautiful songs performed by the amazing chorale.

Breakfast afterwards! Auntie also gave each of us- Michaela, Nik and I these adorable Easter stuffies ♥

Ate lunch at Hibachi Grill, and yes, those were my plates! Yum =P~

#OOTD Animal print overload? LOL Gold skulls necklace from my ever generous sponsor Lovemyblingz! <3 Don’t forget to check out her shop, yeah?

March 17, 2012 Happy happy 17th birthday to my cousin/sister Michaela! Baked cookies and ice cream cakes the night before and surprised her extra early in the morning (like they did to me on my birthday hihi) So! I gave her this handmade birthday card- which I consider as the best birthday card ever, and she agreed LOL Well, we call each other names and only the two of us can understand all the things I wrote in that card which we truly find sooo hilarious! Well, crazy as it seems, I gave her hair straightening coupons.

Went to Harford Mall, bought snacks from Five Guys and headed to Regal Movie Theatre to watch Oz The Great and Powerful. Went home, baked cookies and watched So Undercover. FOLLOW MICHAELA ON TUMBLR: http://radiergummii.tumblr.com/ ♥

#OOTD For Sunday mass

Bought lunch from Little Ceasars!

I really love their Italian Cheese Bread =P~ Yumnomnom

After I wholeheartedly welcomed spring, winter be like “We ain’t over yet you guise!” This is the day that it snowed the longest since I came here, it didn’t even snow that much during winter though but I can’t let this pass sooo…

Playtime with my cousins outside! I was like 6 years old all over again, falling intentionally over the snowy ground and made snow angels and stuff like that. Threw snowballs and created a snowman! LOL

While Michaela and I were stacking snow to make an ugly unknown shape mountain of snow man- like I obviously did back 2010, uncle came home from work and taught us how to make things work the right way! LOL He started making a tiny ball of snow and he just let it roll over til it became bigger and bigger and I realized that how they make it in cartoons where exaggeration of a tiny ball of snow can become a humongous one just by rolling- is exactly true.

Cousins took their sleds outside and it was perfect right at our backyard where there’s a kinda steep slope so… yeah, fun! LOL

And… Ramen. Perfect.

Why hello there, Spring! Nice to meet you LOL Photo above was taken 7:30pm - Reminds me of the lyrics “Days grow longer and nights grow shorter…” I bet you know that song.

#OOTD Necklace thanks to Lovemyblingz! Like them on Facebook and follow them on Instagram- @lovemyblingz :)

Catwanged because my hair was a mess LOL Kept on having bad hair days recently, I hate this part of making hair grow longer and you have to avoid unnecessary haircuts huhu
